40 Authentic Paleo Curry Recipes to Try

Curries are popular dinners in our house. It’s easy to make a big pot of richly flavored chicken, vegetables, or both and eat from the leftovers for lunch all week. These paleo-friendly curry recipes, however, branch out from your standard curry pot into flavored nuts, dips and sauces, drumsticks, and soups. Some of them even use your beloved slow cooker to take most of the work off your shoulders! Try some of these paleo curry recipes and trust me, your family will love them.

There’s something about the taste of a good curry that makes me want to eat it all the time. Luckily with these curry recipes I’ve got curry goodness for days!


1. Thai Curried Veggies and Shrimp
I love curried vegetables, and this recipe makes them even heartier with the addition of shrimp. Mke it with zucchini, baby bella mushrooms, red bell pepper, green onions, baby bok choy, garlic, green curry sauce, fish sauce, coconut cream, and cayenne.

Curry in guacamole? This recipe doesn’t kid around. This dip is the ultimate fusion of cuisines, and it’s so good you’ll wonder why you didn’t think of it sooner. You’ll need Thai green curry paste, lime, ginger, garlic, rice vinegar, avocados, shallots, and more for these fabulous flavors.

Homemade roasted and flavored nuts are my favorite snack. They’re healthy and you can control the ingredients—plus it’s so much cheaper to make them yourself! My ultimate favorite is this recipe for curried cashews with curry powder, coconut sugar, and coconut oil.

I’m a huge fan of curried rice, but obviously rice is off limits on a paleo diet. But not cauliflower rice! This amazing cauliflower rice recipe is made with full fat coconut milk, red curry paste, minced ginger, garlic, sea salt, like juice, and cashew coconut butter.

5. Coconut Masala With Prawns
Masala sauce is perfect with prawns, and this one is made with all manner of goodness including butter, onion, garlic, fennel, tomatoes, cumin, curry powder, paprika, and coconut milk. Just replace the teaspoon of sugar with coconut sugar or leave it out.

Perfect for warmer weather when you don’t want to eat a big bowl of something steamy (or stand over the stove cooking it), this salad is amazing. You’ll need shredded kale and napa cabbage, blackberries, bell pepper, carrots, mint or cilantro, and roasted cashews. And the dressing is fantastic!

7. Curry Scrambled Eggs
Eggs are a great protein-rich breakfast, but if you always eat them the same way, it’s easy to get bored. Try this spunky curried version with avocado oil, chicken breast or whatever other meat you have as leftovers, onion, mushrooms, kale, eggs, curry powder, salt, and pepper.

8. Broccoli Salad With Creamy Curry Dressing
You can make this paleo either by using homemade mayo (as the blogger suggests) or using coconut yogurt instead of dairy yogurt. It’s a delicious dish with maple syrup, black pepper, raisins, toasted sliced almonds, lime juice, creamy Dijon mustard, and curry powder.
